Mini-Workshop on Wave Equations

Venue

All of the talks will take place in Room 410 of the G.O. Jones Building (Mile End Campus, Queen Mary University of London).

The welcome/check-in and the coffee breaks will also take place in Room 410.

Lunch on both days will be catered in the Foyer of the G.O. Jones Building.

Directions: The closest tube stations to the campus are Mile End (Central, District, Hammersmith and City lines) and Stepney Green (District, Hammersmith and City lines). The G.O. Jones Building is a 10 minute walk from either station. (The 25 and 205 buses also stop by the Mile End campus.)

Accommodations

For those staying at the Westbridge Hotel:

  • The closest tube station is Stratford, which connects to many parts of London.
  • The 25 bus travels directly between Westbridge Hotel and the Queen Mary Campus.
  • Some popular locations near the hotel include Westfield Stratford City (shopping centre), Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, and London Stadium.

For those staying at the On-Campus Guest Flats:

  • The flats are located in France House on the Mile End Campus.
  • To check-in, go to the Reception/Security in France House (open 24 hours).

Workshop Dinner

The workshop dinner will take place at Palmers Restaurant, at 18:30, Tuesday 28 January.

The restaurant is a short 15 minute walk from the campus.

The speakers and the participants who registered for the dinner are welcome to attend.

Funding

Regarding any travel or accommodations to be funded (for speakers and for participants who registered for funding):

  • For reimbursements, please fill out an expense form at the workshop. You will need to submit receipts in order to be reimbursed.
  • Any electronic receipts can be e-mailed to me. However, for physical receipts, I will need the original and cannot accept a copy.
